A surprisingly gorgeous evening in DC tonight at a favorite classic bistro. This Giggie has loads of ripe fruit, but is drinking really well already. Very soft, decent acids. Some savory notes. The alcohol (15%) pooks through on the back half of the palate. But it was served a little warmer than I’d like, so that probably amplified it. — 9 months ago

Light, a bit dirty and leather, but SO very drinkable. The mist European natural California wine EVAR! — 8 months ago
This still has a HUGE nose for a natural Broc, tart cherries explode out of the glass, with notes of pomegranate and fresh cut grass. Hardly any bricking, with sustained color and still a prominent acidity on the nose, with subtle florals and pepper. The palate is smooth, medium bodied, with hints of Burch and prominent ripe red fruits, with a slight raspberry breath on the finish. Kind of short, but still solid for 10 years old. Surprisingly still lithe for a Broc! — 3 years ago

Mineral, some stone fruit and GOOD from vine arts. Would get again — 8 months ago

Dark ruby. Inviting nose of baked black cherry and hints of leather. Brighter cherry and softer leather on the medium full palate adding red apple peel, light tannins, and medium acidity. Finish is moderate and continues the palate before a quick drop off. Very nice and a value at under $50. Drink now through 2030. — 19 hours ago
