This wine has a light ruby tint to it. The nose is gorgeous. Fruit is the star, cherry and strawberry aromas, but a delicious earthy note adds complexity. The palate is just as juicy, and an earthy note pulls the fruit together here as well. The tannins are fairly tame, but the acidity is refreshing. Overall, it's a great wine for sipping, salads, or seafood. — 4 months ago
Love this champagne. — 24 days ago
This was really funky on opening and then blew some of that off to have a brawny wine with good fruit and tannin. Some earth and herbs. Dark fruits. Really liked it. — 12 days ago
Medium ruby hue. Aromatic bouquet of red fruits with a matching palate. Plush and elegant. Well worth cellaring. A solid example of Grenache-dominant Chateauneuf-du-Pape. 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah. — a month ago

The first “ah ha” Selosse wine for me many years ago. The south facing La Côte Faron is particularly “Selossien” and therefore particularly singular, with its oxidative complexity, textural richness and generous sun kissed ripe fruit expression. Like all Selosse wines, it’s layered and particularly aromatic for Champagne with intense caramelized red berry fruit, licorice and wildflower honey. The palate shows tremendous volume and intensity with a powerful, full bodied and satiny texture and a long, vibrant, mineral finish. So good. — 2 days ago
