2017 vintage. A bit of a curiosity as this 4 hectares vineyard is situated on an island in the Ciron river. After years of abandonment it was bought and restaured by the Lamothe family (Château Haut-bergeron). 80% Sémillon and 20% Sauvignon blanc. More freshness compared to the 2016 vintage with ripe pineapple and flowers on the nose. Not especially profound but a very nice lightweight Sauternes with good acidity and good almondy length. Good value too at 23 EUR. — 3 years ago
After just sampling this wineries sauv blanc with some oysters, the wife and I reset our palate with some cheese and meats and switched to their red bordeaux blend. Merlot dominant red, jam like taste with raspberry, some vanilla notes on the front. Very very enjoyable Bordeaux especially paired some pepperoni and salami. I really like this bottle! — a month ago

Très bon vin — a month ago
Weak baking spices on the nose.
Rich tannins upfront and richness throughout the medium finish. Dark berry licorice comes through when paired with brie.
Paired with prosciutto and brie. — 8 months ago
