2016 vintage. Need to order some more of this-pronto. Obviously too young but firing on nearly all cylinders at this point. The go-to BDX for those that want to drop coin on BDX but aren't familiar with BDX. For those of us that are familiar with the area/wines, this producer and vintage are delivering overtime. Voluptuous and sexy mixed with just enough down to earth(iness). Drinking phenomenally now. Too youthful to accurately speculate on the end game/potential of this vintage now. Much of the baby fat is gone yet there are a few strands left. Going back to the 1988 vintage, this is in my top three Cos offerings- like now, man... 4.29.23 — 2 years ago

Full-bodied Bordeaux with strong blackberry notes. Smooth and softer than most Bordeaux blends, but still has a nice dry finish. — 5 months ago

2018 vintage. 100% syrah. Willow Creek District. Paderewski Vineyard. Heavy body. Multi-faceted nose. Price has crept up substantially so it is no longer a QPR/bang for the buck darling but is still rocking at full volume. Sometimes, you gotta drop the coin for the concert. 5.29.24. — 6 months ago

2016 vintage. Soft and indistinctive nose and flavors upon opening and stayed that way for the better part of two hours. Then started to gain substantial weight/heft, and spice complexities on the finish. Opened this waay too early but it lost a coin flip to the 2019 Alain Voge VV Cornas. Picked up a dirty, copper penny note + iodine along the way. 2.26.23. — 2 years ago
