very pleasant, elegant, all kinds of cherry, raspberry and red currant on nose, some red florals, spice and an herbal note. great varietal typicity w/out carbonics - legit, classic style, has many more years ahead, mild tannins and decent acidity make this versatile for food options — 2 months ago

Decanted this for an hour and a half and reserved a glass in the bottle for the second day. These notes are based on the second day, as the flavors seemed to shine through a bit more. On the nose, aromas of blackberry and leather, although had to do quite a bit of swirling to get the aromas to come through. On the palette , beautifully deep flavors of blackberry and black currant coming through, with hints of graphite and cocoa in the background. Tannins seems pretty well integrated with good acidity, although definitely some grip on the finish. Cocoa seems to come through a bit more on the finish as well. Overall really tasty, but seems to be closing down a bit for sure. I have one more bottle, so looking forward to seeing how this tastes in 5-10 years time. — a month ago
Having this 2022 with a Montreal grilled pork chop and a fresh local tomato basil mozzarella salad and it has been one of the perfect pairings of all time. The wine is a little young but comes into its own with the pork. Black petrified forest stones with just picked raspberries and tart morello cherries. A hint of Bret in the background which enh the interest without ever competing with the fruit and wet stones. Outstanding with at least 4 years ahead if it — 3 months ago
Likely from Williston Park Wines and Spirits. Cranberry juice, a hint of spice like nutmeg maybe, vanilla, wow. — a month ago
Vintage 2010 | 15 y old and still fruit, always a bit sturdy - which I like - good balanced for the long haul and now drinking perfect. If all Bordeaux would be this good… paired with a beef schnitzel and red cabbage apple mint cole slaw. — 2 months ago
