Lovely 1er minerality galore, med++ acidity and med++ body. Apple, pear, white peach, tropical hints. Over delivered. Wow. — 7 months ago
Wow! Just wow! Brick colored Pinot wine looked toast but smelled amazing, full of cherries like Rainer and subtle tones of bees wax. Beautiful fruit soft and aged and mature for sure but damn! This is burgundy — 3 years ago

Un pinot noir text book.
Excellent!
Couleur : medium garnet
Nez : complexe, poivrons, champignons, cerises, sous bois, très expressif.
Bouche: aussi complexe. Vert, végétal, tanins bien intégrés, acidité bien balancée.
Un très beau et bon vin! — 6 years ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2005 pours a garnet color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of cassis, black plum, capsicum, tobacco, horse blanket, gravelly earth, and a mix of cool and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and elegant. Drink now through 2055. — 11 hours ago
Delicate, floral notes on the nose, dried cherry, nicely balanced — 6 months ago
This is actually a red wine, 100% pinot from declassed villages wines due to yelds higher than allowed. Great bottle. Fruit, tannins and balance. We liked it a great deal. Price is unfriendly so not something we’ll do often. — 7 months ago

Wow. Beautiful nose from the start but the excellent somm unusually suggested a decant on this pinot noir, to our benefit. Cherry dominant and very nice 1er crú — 3 years ago

I had this 8 months ago, and I think it deserves better than my first rating. Aggressive up front. It is pretty dark as far as fruit goes. A little green stuff (twigs and leaves), and leathery tannins. There is no metallic taste like in my previous note.
