It has been sometime since I have had this white label. Nice pair with Apple Tart from the Adorable French Bakery.

The nose is; bruised apple, touch of apple cider, yellow bruised pear, lime zest, lemon juice, orange citrus with zest, tropical melons, white cream froth, brioche, white spring flowers.

The palate is fresh, ripe, juicy; bruised apple, touch of apple cider, yellow bruised pear, lime zest, lemon juice & tropical melons. Gingerale, caramel notes, honeycomb, understated white spice, sea fossils & spray, white cream, delicate chalkiness, limestone marl, almond slivers, field of white, spring flowers with both lilies, crisp, fresh, lively acidity and nicely made, well balanced finish that lasts 90 seconds. — 6 days ago

Most of the love in the Ulysse Collin lineup goes to the BdB’s but I am a big fan of the Maillons, particularly recent renditions. They’re more giving on release, always so demonstrative and aromatically expressive, and this one, based on the 2017 vintage is no exception, wafting layers of defined orchard fruit, bread dough and wildflower honey. The palate is both concentrated and focused with racy acids, a wonderfully textural mousse and a bright, energetic and mineral laced finale. Top notch Blanc de Noirs to no surprise. — 7 days ago

18-8, Disgorged in 2023. Holy shit, this is bloody amazing!!!! The nose is intensely elegant. Honey brioche, baked apples and spices. Bubbles are fine and sexy. On the palate, it's super - complex, layered and lengthy. And the fact it's only Disgorged last year...wow! My first Selosse. I now know why it's so hyped and I cannot disagree.
