picked this one up at the wine shop @ Chelsea Market in New York. Consumed it during my quarantine in Shanghai. I’m very pleased with it. A typical Gevrey-Chambertin. Robust aroma. — 4 years ago

Bordeaux style red blend that includes Merlot, (76%), Cabernet Sauvignon (12%), Cabernet Franc (3%), Malbec (2%) and Petite Verdot (7%). Dark purple/black color. Aromas of dark fruit, dried rose petals, lavender and wet stones. Flavors of black cherry, blueberry, black plums, coffee, dark (bitter) chocolate, vanilla and roasted herbs. Long (but slightly bitter) finish, creamy texture and fine grained tannins. Nice oak integration with a solid punch of acidity. Fruit forward, plush and opulent. Thanks for sharing this bottle, Ron B! — 9 days ago
