2020 / high expectations, not a bad wine but didn’t live up to it for me. Maybe too young, maybe it was me — 3 months ago
Excellent! Rounded, red fruits, beautiful — 9 months ago
This was an incredible wine. Tobacco and plum on the nose. Love the rich tannins of this wine — a year ago
Badia a Coltibuono, or "The Abbey of good harvest," lies in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, between Florence and Siena. The Abbey is approximately 2000 years old. Blend of 90% Sangiovese; 10% Colorino, Canaiolo, & Ciliegiolo. Deep Ruby color, aromas of black fruit and earthy spice nose. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with savory tannins, good balance, black pepper and cacao notes. Medium+ finish ending with earthy mineral notes. Good now. — a month ago
Semi sweet on the nose, lighter bodied Chianti with a bright acidity and good finish. Great pair imo with tomato based sauce pasta. Very good Italian Chianti and would recommend with both a fine Italian dinner, or a pizza night. #winewednesday — 4 months ago
Purchased from rootstock, was good. Organic. Mom said she liked the Chianti purchased a few weeks prior more — 2 months ago
Well balanced with med acidity. Ripe cherry that lingers on the pallet. Great wine with our red sauce pasta dinner.. A Joe Godas selection — 9 months ago

Saw this for $50 with some nice age and wanted to try it. Opened a couple hours before dinner but no decant. Could have used the decant in general, lots of yeasty sediment. Really quite delicious. Restrained, earthy, slightly bitter in a good way. Excellent mouthfeel. Good fruit balanced by good acid and just enough tannin. — 9 days ago
