Unctuous. Best way to describe this wine right now. Drank alongside a Marcoux CdP and this wasn’t even close to the Marcoux’s character and depth. Not to say this wasn’t a good wine; in fact, it was quite good indeed. Expectedly modern. Blue fruits and spice and lots of it. Bigger than the Marcoux for sure. Color was a huge contrast being more purple and the Marcoux’s bright red. Tannins weren’t too obtrusive. Decent acid. Not sure what to do with these wines. Drink now? Do they need more age to become their best? The 15.5% scares me a bit. Right now, this comes across too young. — 5 years ago
Great wine, and value. Same winemaker involved in Marcoux if I'm not mistaken. — 7 years ago
Drank 2012 great savory taste with a perfect finish. Big wine but great tasting. — 3 years ago
Enthralled by their CdP, this Lirac shows the same style. Light and bright. — 8 months ago

Could smell the wine across the room. Marcoux VV if blind tasted. Hard to believe it's Tempranillo — 8 years ago
