2012 vintage. Opened and decanted. Tasted 45 mins after decanting. Medium-heavy body with tremendous power. Nose not giving up much at that point other than nebulous, dark fruits. Flavors of spearmint, watercress, rhubarb and ash. Needed at least another hour of lounge time in the decanter to unfurl those wings somewhat but three hours woulda been better. Two bottles left so will opt for a 6 hr decant next viz if possible. 12.25.24. — 13 days ago
A producer & wine I purchase every year as it always hits the spot for Burgundy lovers with its red & black cherry, berry fruit, spice, crushed rock mineral & violet. The 19 is youthful but approachable with its generous fruit & spice. — a month ago
Beautiful sweet berry fruit. Rounded and intense with floral fragrance- violets, roses. Done spiciness at the edges, cinnamon. Done dark plum and garrigue… herbal notes. Soulful and delicious. — a month ago
