Very enjoyable left bank bottling for $35 on the shelf, if not pretty closed. Decanted for 2+ hours and was just starting to reveal itself, still somewhat shy after 4+. Blackberry, stewed mulberry, earth, coffee grounds, garden, and spice. Not overly ripe or concentrated with a subtle bitter balance. Curious to see what day 2 is like. Good value candidate for cellaring though I wouldn’t hate a bit more acidity. — a month ago

An unconventional white blend from a 4th Growth Chateau on the left bank of Bordeaux.
70% Sauv Blanc, 30% Sémillon, provides a feast of Quincy and lemon peel aromas and flavors. Light and refreshing, young and lively. Dry, and some mineralized mouthfeel. Less than a 1,000 cases produced. Lovely! — 19 days ago
Classic and proper Margaux. Lacks a bit of mid palate. — 2 months ago

2018 vintage. Medium-body. Needs another 3-4 years to drop the bully attitude and false bravado, revealing a delicate and gentle soul beneath. Will likely pick up a case next week as the pricing is pretty good for this 1er Cru and effort. 01.09.25. — 24 days ago
