Bordeaux blend of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%). Dark ruby color with a garnet rim. Aromas of blackberry, black licorice, cedar and violets. Blackberry, black plum and blueberry fruit on the palate with additional notes of vanilla, baking spices and tobacco. Very long, smooth and earthy finish. Velvety tannins and medium-plus bodied. Nicely rounded and complex. Thanks for the bottle, Kase. — 8 months ago
Mostly 2016, disgorged Jan 2019. Very yeasty when first opened. Lots of good red fruit. Lacking refinement. Overall great experience. — 3 years ago

Wooden scents, ripe black berries, mocha, spices (pepper, thyme). Dry tannins pinching the tip of the tongue. Enveloping and warm finish. — 6 months ago
Pure pleasure, vivacious, juicy, deeply textured and ripe. A completely different experience than LBT — 2 years ago
