Wet granite rock, mineral, lemon zest, lush body, that leads to bright acid and clean lingering finish. More please. ‘23 vintage — 4 months ago

At nine years old, this may have been a touch past its prime, but it still drank pretty well. Dark fruit and tobacco were dominant on the nose and palate, with hints of earth, cinnamon, and pepper coming through as well. Would like to try a younger bottling sometime soon for comparison. 100% Mayolet. 5/5/25. — 3 months ago

This wine has a light ruby tint to it. The nose is gorgeous. Fruit is the star, cherry and strawberry aromas, but a delicious earthy note adds complexity. The palate is just as juicy, and an earthy note pulls the fruit together here as well. The tannins are fairly tame, but the acidity is refreshing. Overall, it's a great wine for sipping, salads, or seafood. — 12 days ago
