Porter

Super porter from one of the long standing Sussex brewer.

A 1859 recipe that provides a smooth drink with lots of roasted malt and a balance of hops giving a little fruit, and sugar for a full-bodied beer.

The Trouble with Dreams Chardonnay Blend 2018

British, 60 Chard/40 Pinot Noir, aged in used Burgundian barrels. Plenty of floral aromatics, more fruit than brioche, & a very seductive palate of ripe yellow fruit like marigold apple & textured. Very good in a riper yet restrained enough style. Sells for about 50 quid, as my mum would say, but found on sale for 30$. — 5 months ago

Rich & Dark Old Ale

GV
9.4

This is a nice old ale that offers a pleasant taste set around dates, dried fruits, and caramel with a subtle sweetness and gentle hop flavour. Light carbonation.

Great with rainy, dark autumnal days.

Old Speckled Hen English Fine Ale

Yum. Close your eyes and be transported to a cozy English country pub. Perfect with a Ploughman’s or a Steak and Ale pie. This bottled version is so much better than the nitro version which used to available. — 5 years ago
