Fantastic blend red wine. One of the best top chilean wines. It can be alive for decades.
A strong but smoothly wine. — 3 years ago
Had this about 10 months ago, still very nice. Located halfway up the hill dominating the principal valley of Barolo, supported by steep slopes lined by orderly vineyards, lies the 15th century Abbey of Annunziata. Dark Ruby with ripe berry fruits and pepper spice. On the palate cherry and strawberry, some spice, well balanced with savory chewy tannins on a medium finish ending with mineral notes. Great value. Fantastic nose, even though the #cabfranc isn’t the principal grape #bordeauxblend it comes through pure and clear. On the palate it seemed too sweet and overripe. #mexicanwine #mexico — a year ago
Still cruising around in this rough, rugged country of Valle Guadalupe to find those diamonds. Swerving around pot holes, crossing submerged roads, climbing pitted dirt roads, we found one in Bodegas Magoni. An Italian born winemaker and a true pioneer here in the valley. Focused on making old world Spanish, Italian or Bordeaux style wines. Selecting and developing his own clones of the principal wine varieties of these regions to help them adapt and thrive in this valley’s climate. This Rioja style, Tempranillo driven blend is a great example. Dense, intense and super balanced. Rich cigar box, leather a dry dark cherry on the palette. Fine grained tannins creating a lingering finish. Optimum acidity to cleanse your palette for the next sip! — 2 years ago

Located halfway up the hill dominating the principal valley of Barolo, supported by steep slopes lined by orderly vineyards, lies the 15th century Abbey of Annunziata. Medium Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits with earthy herb notes, aged for 12 months on oak. On the palate flavors of cherry, strawberry and raspberry with sweet vanilla spice. Fine tannins, vivid acidity, medium+ finish ending with earthy fruit character. Good value, Barolo like without $$! — 2 years ago
Located halfway up the hill dominating principal valley of Barolo, lined by vineyards, lies a precious 15th century Abbey of Annunziata. Medium Ruby with complex aromas of berry fruits, oak and fresh floral scents. On the palate dried cherry, tobacco, licorice, espresso and fresh herbs give this full-body wine grace and elegance. Soft fine dusty tannins, with earthy notes, on a well balanced frame makes this hot vintage wine approachable today as well as have room to run over the next decade. Very Nice! — 3 years ago

Dark purple color (darker than the 2019 Vespolina), lovely blueberry aromas and flavors, some underlying minerality, rich and nicely complex, longish finish, this needs more cellaring. (Apparently this is 90% Croatina, 10% Vespolina, the DOC rules require at least 85% of single varietal for label to identify the principal grape.) — 16 days ago
