A perfect Spätburgunder from Baden — the closest a German Pinot Noir has tasted to Burgundy, and an excellent value at ~$40 a bottle.
Classic Pinot noir flavors of cherry, raspberry, and earth. — 21 days ago
Nose: incredibly dense. Cherry. Spice. Dark lilacs. Quite penetrating. Alluring is the word. Hints of pink roses.
Palate: dense cherries. Cherry spice. Maybe a hint of cherry y cough syrup. Savory. Some elegant richness. Maybe a mere hint of stem. As this opens silky texture.
Some dark cherry licorice on the finish.
A bit tight. Better in 2 years or with a decant.
12.5%. Hard to believe is. — 2 months ago
These E&M wines are just stupido! What do i mean by this? Popped opened. Joined 2 bottles into one because i was not convinced/unhappy. Got close to the sink. Then decided leave in the fridge for 2 weeks. And Voilà now quite awesome. Strawberries, tart, rhubarb, ….bark, more red than Rosé. Dark, complex, orange zest, dark cherry. Would age this 2-3 years. Revisit and then decide on even more cellar time. — 17 days ago
Really beautiful and complex Pinot, very aromatic nose and balances flavor that leaned slightly savory without throwing off the balance — a month ago
39$. Besides Enderle & Molls Pinot based Rosé for less $$$ - this is one of the best on the the planet. But 39$. Yet worth it. Dense, dark, almost like a Pinot, tannic, Rasberries, Strawberries, Cherry, Melon, Basil comes to mind???? may be. The 2023 is very very fruit driven - what a wine. From Max Kogod. He is a little more expensive but has unique stuff. — 3 months ago
Glorious nose of blackberry flower, dark black cherries, tiniest hint of VA only adds to the allure. Super focused nose and provocative. Gorgeously high tones. Palate is so rich, energetic and with tons of sweet black fruits. Unreal inner mouth aromas and painfully concentrated with inane tiny berry fruit intensity. Powdery tannins that are ripe and sweet and above all this has class and refinement. Wow. Day 2 the nose comes alive with dark violets and the fruit is a bit redder today. Palate is so supple, sweet and soft but with great energy. Great complexity and wow that acid! Fruit is redder today but dark redder and such awesome tannins. — a month ago
Very very good. Really no Burgh can match this especially not at the price point. Hint volatility which blows off. Fantastic pinot fruit - mostly dark fruit interspersed with earth and dirt, violets and dark cherry/lime. Basically one of the best out there. 2022E & M’s are awesome. This in on the earthy side from Sven Enderle. Florian Moll’s version is more floral and juicy - both absolutely world class - long live Baden! — 2 months ago

Stunning nose of black and red cherry and mega bramble. Gorgeous xmas spice and black cherry as well. Palate is tight as a drum but has just the most unreal black cherry fruit. it has ridiculous, freshness, and unbelievable sap and intensity and length and the fruit is so pure. It sits on your back palate on the top of your gums and plants a a flag. Then dissipates in a minute. Even closed this is stunning. The nose now is a dizzying array of spice, flowers and complex cherry fruit. After 5 hours open the fruit gets purer and wow that structure has melted but it’s still there but yummy. Still it’s a bit folded in and the nose is nice but not as expressive upon opening. Let’s see how it is tomorrow. Much more complete today. Pure fruit and depth. Unreal black cherry and brilliant balance. — 7 days ago
