A full body Negroamaro from Salento South Italy. Beautiful dark color, mild nose. Delicious palate.
Overwhelming ripe harvest wine, with good backbone. — 6 months ago
Really good. Needs a few hours of air. I’m guessing will be better in 5 years. Cherries, tobacco, strawberry jolly rancher, earth, a bit of evergreen. — 8 months ago
This is a wine that fits perfect on a hot summer day sitting outside enjoying the weather. Incredibly crisp and fresh, with the perfect amount of acidity. Pale in color, with great minerality. Very very good and would drink again — 2 months ago
Dark ruby/purple color with a slight garnet rim. Aromas of ripe black berry/currant fruit, ash, smoke and leather. Sour red and black cherry fruit on the palate with additional notes of figs, black olives, woody herbs and black pepper spice. Nice hint of charred oak on the medium-plus finish. Well balanced and powerful. Better as it opened up so give this wine a decant. Solid QPR. — 7 months ago
3 hour decant. — 4 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2022 pours a pale yellow color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart tropical and citrus fruits: passion fruit, star fruit, lemon and limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and acid zip is pronounced. Drink now. — 4 months ago
