Wine 1, with rack of lamb. As my drinking history shows, Raffault is a perennial favorite. 2017 is easy access with medium weight, wild red berry fruit, tomato leaf, and earth. Drink over the next five years. Holding ‘09, ‘14, ‘15, and ‘18 with patience. — 2 months ago
Smooth finish, medium bodied. would take to a dinner party. Notes of bold berries. Barrel reserve select bottle. Fun wine at a decent price for repeated consumption. — 7 months ago
Hugo’s Cellar has a great wine list! This one is a more fruit forward Cab, but not one that overpowers filet. — 4 days ago
Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, bell pepper, forest floor, herbs, and dark cherry. On the palate, blueberry, dark berry, cassis, pepper, spice, toasted oak, vanilla, chocolate, and a long finish. Full bodied, rich and balanced. — 3 months ago
Apricot, lemon zest, lychee, and shortbread. Juicy and flavorful. — 5 months ago
Fruit sourced from five vineyards, Brunate, Liste, Cerequio, Cannubi and Raviole. Medium Ruby red color with aromas of red fruit, earthy spices, floral and cedar. On the palate flavors of sour cherry and raspberry with notes of floral, smoky tobacco, vanilla and oak. Long finish, nice balance with fine soft tannins, ending with an earthy character. Good now, a few bottle years will benefit! — 10 months ago
Beautiful blend, back to the glory of older vintages. 51% cab franc, 49% Merlot. — a month ago
With a three hour decant still very tannic and stemmy. Probably needs another five plus years — 4 months ago

A Burgundian-styled Cab Sauv from the one of the most compelling Sub AVA of Napa mountains (Mayacamas) which has an amazing soil and solid influence from the Pacific. Crafted with an amazing balance of 68% Cab Sauv, 20% Merlot, 5% and the rest to round it off its structure and age ability. The 2011 is still climbing to its peak. Enticing notes of dry red fruits on the nose and mouth, delicate, outstandingly silky and nearly perfect balance!
The finish shows its beauty. (if you find it, it won’t disappoint you) it will give the run for the money. — 12 days ago
