This needed a few hours of air to wake up but came out swinging after! Tropical fruits and slate mixed together with an oily texture and nice acidity. Not quite at the level for me of the Singerriedel but still very enjoyable! — 7 days ago
Viognier-esque bitterness, Riesling-esque fruit, Burgundy minerality. A chameleon but still quintessential Gruner. The toffee notes and golden hue screams Smaragd. — 6 months ago
Medium ruby color. Aromas of cherry, cranberry and hints of red licorice. Cherry and cola on the palate, with a black tea finish. Paired nicely with pulled pork sandwiches.
