With Pinot friends so I brought this wine to share. I think it would have been better earlier but still great! — 3 years ago
Loving this Lynch Bages courtesy of special friends and being invited to the man cave!! — 6 years ago
This iconic wine is always enjoyable at this age. Showing great complexity and mouthfeel.
Dry on the palate with black fruits, earth, chocolates, tobacco, spices, mocha, coke, vegetables, pencil lead and peppercorn.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.
This 8 year old is drinking very nicely now and will age nicely in the next decade.
Needs 3 hours to open up properly and show some tannins.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
A great wine to have with good friends. Thank you David for sharing.
I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses. Delicious.
Robert Parker 93 points.
A blend of 80% Sangiovese, 5% Cabernet Franc and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Fortunate to have great friends that surprised me with this old vintage Bordeaux from my birth year. Opened up nicely and paired well with beef. — 8 months ago
#AgedWineTuesday
Celebrating our wedding anniversary, with a Vintage Champagne from the same year.
Light yellow in color with a golden hue.
Strong nose of bread, spices, earth, wet leaves, herbs, yeast, white pepper, lemons, yellow apples and river rocks.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and soft, small bubbles.
Dry on the palate with light citrus, over ripen apples, spices, yeast, bread, river rocks, herbs and white pepper.
Short finish with limes.
This 28 year old Champagne is still delicious, although probably on its last leg.
Showing great complexity with a nice mouthfeel. Soft and elegant.
Not much fruit is left, but enough to make it tangy and interesting.
Thank you Judy for sharing this with us.
Good by itself or with food. I paired it with caviar and good friends. Very tasty, especially with the caviar.
12% alcohol by volume.

I had this a week ago but didn’t take any notes at all at a friends tasting last Sunday afternoon. Have always been a huge fan of Dominus and this was from an exceptional vintage. I recall an excellent left bank Cabernet dominant style but presented as a Napa style - rich and plush but not overly so. Thoroughly enjoyable. — 6 months ago
Delicious pinot. Full bodied. Lovely to drink with good friends. — 2 years ago

Celebrating @James K birthday! This was WoTN unanimously. It was complex, yet easy. Beautiful nose and even better palate. We talked about how you couldn’t need anything more in a wine and if you had to only have one wine forever this would be a candidate. Great wine, great food, great friends. — 4 months ago
