Deep purple with a nose of raspberries, sweet cherries, cedar chest, and slight notes of cinnamon. Full-bodied with higher alcohol, richness, and intensity. It’s a bit hot, but not out of balance. Medium acidity and tannins. Quite nice, but I like the Honey Bunny better. — 4 years ago

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with mild complexity.

Showing red and black fruits with wood, tobacco leaf, vegetables, red chili pepper, spices and peppercorn.

Medium finish with fine grained tannins.

This is a very tasty Grenache blend from Paso Robles. This 7 year old is peaking now. Spicy and rich.

Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime.

2014 Vintage. 16% Alcohol. Needs a bit more time but extremely enjoyable. First time we’ve seen a white wax seal on any SQN. Part of Gail’s birthday celebration. With black truffles on house made fettuccine at Il Cortile in Paso Robles. First wine from that wooden six pack. After a day of tastings at Torrin, McPrice Meyers, Fulldraw, Booker and Benom, had to be a special bottle to stand out! Paso rocks! — 4 years ago
