Wow. A relic from my trip to Waiheke in ‘08, it’s holding up remarkably well. Spot on Bordeaux-like character with hints of bell pepper and graphite to go along with seamless tannin and racy acidity. The fruit character is still bright and sings with cranberry, cherry and red cassis in perfect harmony with the structure of the wine. Glad I waited and glad I have another bottle! — 2 months ago
Spotted this rebranded NZ PN Crimson, the wine at our wedding. silky smooth, all the characteristics of NZ PN and then some, loved it. Went perfectly with rotisserie chicken. — 3 days ago
Beautiful wine with a bit of a reductive finish — a month ago
Vintage 2021 | This cuvée impressed me deeply: refinement and elegance, touches of vanilla and butter. Much better than eg mediocre Meursault. Lovely. Thought it was my first time but delectable shows me it is the third (139 and 501 weeks ago). Tonight it stuck me most. Must put some in the cellar. — 3 months ago
Pale yellow color. Tropical fruit on the nose and palate. Long finish and high acidity — 20 days ago
Always a fun ringer in a double blind. Hard to call Chardonnay. — 19 days ago
Brief notes. Barb said sour cherry. My initial impressions - dried herbs, dried red cherry and black plum. Quite a big Pinot Noir. One could say a Shiraz drinkers Pinot, but it’s better than that and gives the wrong connotation. Have my next one in late 2025. As I have said in prior notes it lacks nuance. — 3 months ago
Light bodied ruby colour 13% alc with good nose of berry flavours, great integrated tannins and good balance of fruit and acidity with quite a long lingering finish
We are fortunate that Australia is flanked by NZ and South Africa and all three have great Pinots that can stand tall with the wines of Burgundy at very affordable price points 🤗 — 3 months ago

My last bottle of the 2014 Bullnose and consistent with previous notes here on Delectable. Hawkes Bay is one of the best districts in NZ for Syrah and Cabernet. Hasn’t really evolved much from the first of 4 bottles I had in 2021. Still has the trademark black pepper and spice in what is essentially an elegant medium bodied wine without the fuller bodied blackberry and tar of nearby Trinity Hill Homage. — 3 days ago
