Nice Pino Noir, Black cherry and strawberry flavors. Medium bodied with a slight minerality. — 4 years ago
Three clones from 4 Goldridge soil sites, Clone 828 & 13 plus Pommard 5. Medium Ruby color with aromas of dark berry fruits with notes of herbs and spices. On the palate flavors of blackberry, plum and cherry with espresso, vanilla and herb spice, well balanced with acidity. Fine tannins on a long finish ending with cedar, spice and earthy character. Very nice! Very small production. — 5 months ago

The six acre Rice-Spivak Vineyard Pinot Noir is located south of the town of Sebastopol. Vines are set on Goldridge sandy loam along with volcanic ash. This starts off with bright aromas of rose petal with blood orange rind, smoke, red cherry preserves and guava puree. The aromatic range is simply gorgeous here. On the palate, the wine reveals a silky mouthfeel and wonderful minerality. With gobs of mouth-watering acidity, red and dark fruits mingle with spicy undertones. Highly complex and downright delicious, this will cellar well for a decade or more. 2014 vintage. Biodynamically farmed Maboroshi vineyard in Sebastopol Hills, the Southern part of the Russian River Valley AVA. Goldridge soils. Beautiful nose with red berries, griottes, violets, subtle spices and a hint of strawberry jam. Elegant and energetic in the mouth with deliciously pure red fruit, fresh acidity, velvety tannin and good depth. Perfectly integrated oak. Terrific value. — 6 years ago
