I love this cab bc so many of the notes are classic but the rannins are low. $160, RP 95 points. — 2 months ago
It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
Dark purple in color with a wide purplish rim.
Beautiful nose of black fruits with cedar, vanilla, leather, spices, earth, chocolates, tobacco and peppercorn.
Full-bodied with medium acidity.
Dry and fruit forward on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, blackberries, cedar, vanilla, spices, chocolates, tobacco, light earth and herbs.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon from Red Mountain in Washington State. Elegant and fruity. Smooth and soft.
This 6 year old is showing nice complexity at this point, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years. Showing good potential to become a 95+ point wine.
This Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is good right out of the bottle, and better after 90 minutes of airtime.
Spicy, entertaining, and the high alcohol is well integrated by now.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with a nice piece of steak.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged for 20 months in all new French oak barrels.
14.8% alcohol by volume.
93 points.

Been holding this for awhile and really enjoyed this at 12 years old. — 17 days ago
The 2019 edition of this wine seems looser, lower in acid, and more on the savory side than usual. Scorched earth and very pure, spicy Zin blackberry fruit on the nose. Round and and soft in the mouth. Up-front Zin fruit quickly gives way to more savory elements. A slight bitterish note, not unpleasant, as the finish progresses. Unlike other Storybook Zins, I’d drink this one sooner rather than later. — 13 days ago
