Mid 20th century fashionable country resort, popular with Hollywood due to 1892 stone Manor House & historic gardens. Blend of 90% Cab Sauv, 5% Malbec, rest Petit Verdot. Dark Ruby, aromas of ripe berry fruits, herbs and cigar box spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and black currant with vanilla oak, tobacco and earthy notes. Well balanced, fine tannins long finish ending with fruit, espresso notes and sweet earthy spice! Nice now and will drink well over next decade. — 2 months ago
We had the 2019 Vintage on 8/4-5/24. A fantastic RRV PN. Black cherry, black raspberry, Cinnamon, baking spice and cola. Medium bodied with a wonderful mouth feel. Smoothed out tannins with a nice finish. Would definitely buy more. I like this more than their single vineyard offerings — 2 months ago
Better than I expected. Not sure how much we paid, but well worth the price, regardless. — a month ago
Nice enough but not overly remarkable — a month ago
A lovely red for any occasion. Trust, they will like it. Good price for a good wine. — 2 months ago

This 09 was upgraded to 100 points by Lisa Perrotti formerly of Robert Parker in 2020. I didn’t taste a 💯 & the first time she & I have been this far apart.
This 09 was velvety, smooth, beautiful & elegant with nicely ripe fruits. But, it really lacked the depth & complexity I have come to expect from this producers bottling.
Touched into 94 with a few sips. Decanted a 1 1/2 hours & enjoyed over the next two hours.
@NepentheBigSur If you haven’t been there, well worth the time to visit. — a month ago
