Unscrew and pour. My kind of wine. Intense nose of melon, lime, candied kumquat and a cotton candy affect. On the palate: stunning acidity, grapefruit, pith, soft oiliness, and loveky density. A hint of white pepper spice, on the juicy and mineral finish. This is an absolute stunner for the price. — 2 years ago
Pale lemon color with aromas of ripe fruits, citrus, vanilla and nutty scents? From a hot vintage. On the palate complex flavors of apple, peach, pineapple and lemon citrus, well balanced with acidity on a nice mouthfeel. Long finish ending with oak, vanilla, mineral and citrus notes, will continue to age. A nice Chardonnay. — a month ago
Yo! Ripe but still perfectly balanced. Showing maturing flavors but still fresh. Crushed that Panang Curry — 4 years ago
After breathing, smooth with some body but a little more tart than we prefer for a cab. — a month ago
One of our favorite reds. Not too sweet or tanic but a nice blend of fruit, wood, and soil. Laura nicely with red meat or cheese. — 4 years ago

Quality of this wine is very good. It is very good because it has strong balance of acidity and fruit characteristics. It has a good length and intensity of aromas. It could be improved with greater complexity and tertiary flavor development that would increase the honeyed and dried fruit flavor potential. This wine may be consumed now, but will benefit from more time in the bottle.

I used to like the winery a lot, but recent experience has been mediocre at best. But this RRV chard is very good.
The fragrant nose offers vibrant citrus, green apple, and white peach with a touch of yeast and touch of crushed seashell. The palate is lively with nice texture that leans just lightly towards creaminess. 6 months in 49% stainless, 46% new French oak and 6% in concrete eggs. — 10 days ago
