Fantastic… better to sniff than drink! — 3 months ago
80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Syrah. Rocks District Fruit. Dark red/purple color. Expressive aromas of black cherry and crushed stones. The palate is more plum fruit driven with additional notes of roasted herbs, Earl Grey tea and baking spices. Touch of vanilla on the long and velvety finish. Wonderfully balanced. With a bit of aeration, this wine is remarkably refined yet still quite muscular. Well crafted. — 7 months ago

Quintessential Syrah from Columbia Valley. Spiced, stewed blueberry notes in otherwise dark dry fruit.

Green and twiggy nose, fresh grapes, tea, and herbs. Tannic but smooth mouthfeel. Pretty great K wine! — 2 months ago
Really good Syrah. Wahluke slope always delivers. With some air this wine opened up beautifully. — 2 months ago
I called Bordeaux blend but new world. It is mostly mouvedre which was surprising. Then Grenache and only 3% Syrah. Liked it a lot, just a bit surprising. — 6 months ago

Finally getting around to trying this vintage of an old favorite. Interesting aromas of smoked meat, black olives, dried herbs and violets. Dark plum, black cherry and blackberry fruit on the palate with additional notes of pepper spice, orange zest and minerals. Long and savory finish. Tastes very similar to Northern Rhône Syrah. Bold with Medium-plus body. Glad we waited. Thanks for sharing, John P. — 4 days ago
