Fresh, creamy, flowery ... everything is fitting so well together. Immensly satisfying balance for a very fair price! — 2 years ago
I really don’t like — or maybe really think I don’t like — sweet wines. But…THIS dessert wine makes me doubt everything I thought I disliked (though it has a dryness at the cherry-sweet center) — 3 years ago
@Delectable Wine this is the Grande Reserve, Hainfelder Letten.
Interesting PN. A suggestion of the old style of spatburgunder at first, but the oak is not overdone (drank alongside a 2019 Stodden JS for comparison). On the nose: sour cherry, sandalwood, soft coconut, more earthy notes. On the palate: lovely acidity, black cherry, slate. Perhaps a touch short, but soft, finely grained tannin on the spicy finish. I liked the JS more up front, but this is showing really well with about 8 hrs of air. Lovely now! — a year ago

Thoroughly enjoyed this bottle which reminded me of a more concentrated Oregon pinot. Focused on cherry and strawberries, and heavily earth bound. Dry and quenching, it kept me coming back even though each sip had a lasting finish. — 9 months ago

Deep strawberry and plum. Tasty. Balanced acidity. Minerals. Spices. Earthy. It makes me feel it is produced in a bit warm religion but in north, meaning Faltz Germany. BERNHARD KOCH HAINFELDER SPATBURGUNDER Q.B.A. TROCKEN 19 @3865, Umem, 240908-241017 — 3 months ago
