This is simply delightful, bloody awesome actually.
Typical Napa-purity and dito density, yet laced with Bdx-like treble-notes of freshness, acidity and transparency.
Served it alongside maigret/parsnip/anise-jus, but liked it better before and after this fantastic dish.

Thanksgiving wine- Catalanes red, 65% Carignan & 35% Syrah done up nice & dense almost like a baby CDF but less raspberry & more dark berry. Drank a 100% Carignan right after so interesting to compare. Very good & fresh style, but still more brooding & extracted given the Syrah I imagine. Throws off sediment so worth a decant. 2022 vintage. First time seeing/tasting the 2nd label of Château Lascombes. Flips the main label blend of approx 70% Cab/30% Merlot to 70% Merlot/30% Cab. Turnabout is fair play-and delicious.
