From a 5 liter bottle at Smith & Wollensky for WINE WEEK. What a deal and fun Friday afternoon
This wine had very good bright fruit flavors. Minimum tannins. A touch of acidity that was needed to keep it from being too juicy.
Ultimately quite enjoyable. — 2 months ago
Revisiting the Tapiz cab. Balanced and smooth. James Suckling’s 94 points seem out of bounce though. With good amount of air, this wine drinks very well though. — 3 days ago
Heavy Pinot noir than expected but welcomed on the pallet. Fragrant and enjoyable to the tip of the nose. Full bodied. — 19 days ago
This is amazing we have had this several times always amazing! — a month ago
Crafted by Joseph J. Wagner, 4th generation winemaker, with winemaking roots in the Napa Valley since 1906. Deep Ruby with red berry fruit aromas, tea and sweet spice notes. On the palate flavors of jammy blackberry and cherry with pronounced sweet vanilla oak, cacao and pepper spice notes. Soft tannins and bright acidity, well balanced, with mineral tones on a long finish ending with toasty spice! Nice! — 3 months ago

This was showing great! Aging well and gaining complexity. It’s a wine of texture for sure. Could use a bit more acid but this is a great American Chardonnay. — a month ago
