17+. With 14 years of age, Chasselas is a serious grape. A lot of complexity, good balance and length. — 4 months ago

"Issu de Vieilles vignes" Bourgogne Cote d'Or Pinot Noir 2019

This is surprisingly good! Nose screams Pinot from the Cote de Beaune. Sappy, sultry cherry, spice, moist limestoney loam. Soft textured and focused in the mouth. Good ripeness and zingy acids. Just enough super-soft tannin to provide some structure. Nice length. Terrific value (two words you don’t often hear when a Burgundy is the subject). — 3 years ago

Rich deep, reddish brown colour w lots o dried tomatoes n some acidity. Not much red fruit left. Slim n not very big. Interesting. — 6 years ago

Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2021

‘21 Bourgogne that needs its time & air to flex some considerable muscle. Light cherry lifesavers & some grip on the light frame. Was coming all together by the last glass. — 2 years ago

Les Tremblots Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Chardonnay 2016

Ravishing and complex despite the humble appellation. Aromas of Meyer lemon, spiced pear, hazelnut, vanilla bean and honey. Grilled pineapple flavors on the mid palate with salted caramel and wet stones on the finish. The saline lemon flavors echo throughout. Both voluminous and supple, showing ample ripe fruit but retaining a refined sense of nerve and minerality. One of the most thoroughly seductive and satisfying white Burgundy experiences I’ve had in a long time for less than $30, but certainly it is wonderful regardless of price point. — 5 years ago
