Les Portes De Lussac

Château La Grande Clotte

Lussac-St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2022

Earthy, cocoa nose. Big, dark fruit, chocolate with a dry, lightly spicy finish. Definitely up our alley. — 9 days ago

Château du Courlat

Lussac-St. Émilion Merlot 2018

Classic, solid Bordeaux, good balance of tannins, super dark fruit, very slight hint on black olives, good finish! — 8 months ago

Château Bel Air

Lussac-St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2020

Really nice St. Emilion satellite wine. After 30 min the palate is ripe with red and black fruit and vegetation. The tannic bite on the back end is soft and smooth. Great QPR — a month ago

Château de Barbe Blanche

Lussac-St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2016

Bordeaux blend of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%). Dark ruby color with a garnet rim. Aromas of blackberry, black licorice, cedar and violets. Blackberry, black plum and blueberry fruit on the palate with additional notes of vanilla, baking spices and tobacco. Very long, smooth and earthy finish. Velvety tannins and medium-plus bodied. Nicely rounded and complex. Thanks for the bottle, Kase. — 6 months ago
