Great with our moose dinner — 3 years ago
A bit on sweet side. Not a ton of depth — 4 years ago
15 years later still has fruit up front with red cherry & boysenberry tones. Some earth and mineral towards end. — 8 months ago
Costco find. Opened up very much with petrol and diesel on the nose and mouth. But it turned beautifully into a floral and crystalline expression of fruit. Not much depth but good acidity to balance out the sweetness. Eminently quaffable even with a very hearty moose curry. — 2 years ago

An interesting primitivo. The fruit is a bit more subdued favoring light kisses of plum and currant. The cognac barrel stands out prominently. I get cocoa powder and a bit of vanilla, maybe a touch of tobacco. It's full bodied that balances out a tannic and alcoholic finish. Still has the intangibles of a primitivo but makes me want some brandy. Creamy mouthfeel, touch of slate. Would love to have again. — a year ago
Very even mouth, and pleasant finish. Paired well pasta, but it could loose its subtleties with a spicy dish. — 4 years ago

Addictive and absolutely stunning. Super elegant and lean when compared to the Buntsandstein from E&M. Ethereal cherry 🍒 light as air. Crushed Marble. Essentially like a Premier Cru Chambolle Musigny from the slopes of the black forest. Tannin’s fully resolved. Drink Up!!!! I would not keep this longer. From here on out it will loose its luster. — 2 months ago
