Gorgeous fleurie. Cranberries, dark strawberries, stone, some forest and barnyard, it’s too “crunchy” to be Pinot but leans toward burgundy Pinot. Unbelievable with pork chops and food. Medium golden color. Aromas of white flowers, green melon and fresh herbs. Melon, pear, green apple and citrus fruits (grapefruit and pineapple) on the palate with hints of butter and those fresh herbs. Pleasant mineral component on the finish. This took time to open when it did I leaned towards aged grand cru burgundy as the bubbles were fine and faded fast. Intense power and creaminess as it unfolded. Lots of acid that made this drink well with almost every dish.
