On the nose, this is frozen raspberry... On the palate, this tastes darker... Blackberry, cranberry... Tree bark, cedar, sawdust... Eucalyptus... Very mushy wood... Pretty big body here though... 2019 vintage is A truly gem, ready to go! A great representation Cab Sauv from Calistoga, Napa. Rich, bold and intense, yet crazy delicious! All raisins, baked figs, and tons of cured leather and tobacco leaf, it truly glides in your mouth. It screams cheese and charcuterie platters, and it is progressive, 90 mins after opening it shows it’s potential. Tannins were polished and had a comeback finish! — a month ago
