Gold Capsule. I love Markus’ version of this and prefer it to JJ Prum as it’s more reserved and less opulent. Stunning yet subtle nose of green apple, pear and peach plus some apricot notes and vanilla extract. Unreal slate and mineral that is so fine and refined. Just a super perfumed nose. Palate has ridiculous energy and acidity with jaw dropping purity and intense acidity. Racy. Really racy. Palate has terrific peach and green apple fruit. Maybe a skoche honeyed but the mineral/acid spine is just incredible here. Light yet intense and built for the very long haul. Brilliant. Really elegant now with air. Amazing. — 3 months ago
Pale salmon color with strong bubbles. Smells like yeast and sea air. Mild mineral-y first impression followed by flavors of tangerine and aftertaste of grapefruit and nectarine. Dry. Mellow for a rose. Very pleasant. — 12 days ago
Nose: elite peach flower. Exquisite.
Palate: why but lovely. Mountain stream infused with peaches. Elegnat.

This is a crazy wine.
On open it tastes watered down.
An hour in its very interesting.
Nose: ultra fine mineral dust. A memory of lemon flower. Really gorgeous. A GG quality nose.
Palate: filigreed. Elegant. Mineral. The memory of a classic mosel wine.
Needs an hour decant but I’m glad I had this. Classic in its own way.

White Cap. Glorious nose of refined slate, lanolin, fresh herbs, some hints of apricot and green apple. So subtle, almost like an elegant Chablis crossed with Mosel. I am sure it will open more with air but the foundation is there for dynamite aromatics. Some sweet ginger now. Lime blossom. The palate is just awesome. Rich. chewy and dense but light as a feather and so elegant. Long and focused with sweet lime fruit and unreal purity. This is so close to a 9.7. — a day ago
