Love this. Nicely balanced that has lots of similarities to a BX w some age. Lead, leather, spice, plums, earthy. Nose is a bit hot. Still, a great value for $26. Buy again. — 21 days ago

Syrah 70% / Cab Sauv 14% / PV 16%
Varietally fermented & aged. French oak (10-14 months), then assemblage.
Prominent roasted, smokey aromas, leather, blueberry, blackberry, menthol, coffee bean, clove, black pepper, dried violets, pencil shavings.
Ripe blackberry, blueberry, and plum; vanilla bean, cocoa nib, black pepper, crushed rock / graphite. Fresh acidity; tannins resolving nicely but still robust.
Drink now with food now or revisit in 2-3yrs. (Nb. variance has been a factor - some have peaked) — 3 days ago
Light golden color. Aromas of white flowers, fresh herbs, wet stones and a faint amount of citrus fruit. Green melon, lychee, and those fresh herbs fill the palate. Minerals pleasantly dominate the finish. Creamy texture and lively acidity. So fresh! Outstanding QPR! Reminded me more of a high elevation crisp white from France or Italy. Wonderful surprise! Paired perfectly with my smoked eggplant dish with anchovies and crusty bread. Such a wonderful expression of volcanic wine. — a month ago

Light salmon color. Aromas of watermelon and red berries. Bold red berry and watermelon fruit flavors with a nice hint of spice. Touch of salinity on the finish. Nice texture (bit of heft) and a bit of tannin. Quite crisp and refreshing. Gulpable! Excellent QPR. Thanks for sharing, Kase! — 13 days ago
