Quite nice for the price - refreshing — 5 months ago
At nine years old, this may have been a touch past its prime, but it still drank pretty well. Dark fruit and tobacco were dominant on the nose and palate, with hints of earth, cinnamon, and pepper coming through as well. Would like to try a younger bottling sometime soon for comparison. 100% Mayolet. 5/5/25. — 3 months ago
Definite upgrade from the standard bottling of this grape. $17. — 3 months ago
Austere was the first word that came to mind and then I saw it in @Tom Casagrande’s review as well (though of the previous vintage). Overall I still enjoyed it, but you have to be in the mood for a crisp, somewhat bitter, reclusive wine. — 2 months ago

Structure is on point: high acidity, long finish, full mouthfeel. Flavors are a jumbled mess though. Bruised fruit is primary. Clean up some of that and this would be fire. — 7 days ago
