I have been wanting to try this for years and finally got access to his wines without having to drive down to San Diego. Pushed K&L every so often and they finally delivered. This was way better than I expected. I heard he is using sulfur so it’s not as “natural” as before but way more stable. Flavors were light and food friendly. Hint of vinegar to be on the nose but not on the palate. Crowd pleaser. Listening to Action Bronson who alerted me to this wine on That’s Delicious. Bring it back! — 16 days ago

1996 vintage. Last tasted 5.8.25 (9.5), 9.29.24 (9.5) and 8.2.24 (9.6). Decanted with some sed and tasted after an hour. Solid cork and fill. This was the worst showing of the last visits with less tannic structure and slightly more richness. Tasted a bit more like their "Au Paradis" offering. Not totally dissuaded from picking up another few bottles for enjoyment in the few 5 years or so tho. Three out of four bottles surveyed were fabulous and this wasn't a total swing and a miss. 07.18.25. — a month ago

2013 vintage. Decanted and tasted after two hours. Medium body. Leaning heavily towards a feminine-styled Cabernet and has dropped nearly all of the braggadocio of youth. As mentioned with another reviewer @Jay Kline not even close to being as exciting as the producer’s Les Pavots bottling and fairly one-dimensional.
