2017 vintage. Medium-heavy body alongside dark color and a dense nose. Enough fruit to please but not enough to overwhelm the balance. A very pleasant exeunt comprised of cassis, plum and milk chocolate. Nice for the price and drinking well now. 3.29.23. — 2 years ago
Deep Ruby color with aromas of black fruits, floral and sweet earthy notes. On the palate flavors of plum and blackberry with notes of leather and earthy spice. Firm tannins, medium finish ending with fruit, oak and earthy character. — 9 months ago

This take stage really nicely. It keeps opening and growing more complex but always subtle. Great wine to drink with food. — 3 years ago
Mary BD 11/19/21 with suckling pig. Opened at the end. Terrific Barolo with all the classic varietal profile. Pleasure to drink though didn’t quite match the Brunello in pairing the pig. Last one and winery defunct. — 4 years ago

What an amazing Chardonnay from South Africa. I was already a fan of S African wines, but hadn’t tried a Chardonnay. A beautiful taste, not too buttery, it was a perfect summery glass with our bbq. — 19 days ago
