This is what we strive to be...rich, but balanced. Stuff to show, not showy.
This is lively kickin' pretty perfumed mix of vanilla spice and citrus, with a saturated butterscotch glow. Yellow sour mirabelle plums and peaches. Swervy end note of violet and artificial grape. — 3 years ago
Biodynamic Pinot Blanc with a splash of Auxerrois.
Fresh nose, herby, salty, mineral with the typical Alsace note of summer meadow & ripe orchard fruit.
Nice mouthfeel, a bit rounder & creamier yet beautifully balanced with zesty acidity, ripe pears, Mirabelle plums and orange zest. Finished off with a mineral, salty, stony note.
Very nice for summer terrace sipping but also a great food wine! — 4 years ago
2019 vintage. Biodynamically farmed. Mainly Gros Manseng, with one third Petit Manseng and just a tiny percentage of Petit Courbu. Initially a bit shy, but growing on me. Ripe mirabelle prunes, rosemary and flowers. In the mouth it combines concentrated yellow stone fruit with flinty acidity. Long mineral finish with a distinctive saltiness. Intriguing wine that may not be a crowdpleaser, but it has tons of personality. — 4 years ago
Brut rose. Combination of chardonnay and pinot noir grates provides excellent taste — 5 years ago
Very aromatic with yellow plums, Mirabelle, apricots in honey... a touch of thyme. Sweet in the nose, initially sweet on the palate but with the acidity shining and balancing everything amazingly. Honey, lemons, a touch of caramel, tea like aftertaste. Great complexity and amazing length.

Pale gold with green reflexes. Nice aromatics with a ripe apple, a touch of pear, some mirabelle plums and summer meadow flowers. Midweight on the palate with juicy acidity, nice texture and great purity of fruit. Apples and herby flowers again, with some white pepper in the finish. This has more weight vs the average German Riesling, but remains elegant and with nice tension despite not having the razor sharp mineral acidity. This is a very, very nice wine. — 7 years ago
Meh - not bad and not great. Dry. Drinkable alone. But not amazing — 2 years ago
@Delectable Wine this is the Garnacha Blanca from Artazu
Enticing and fresh nose with ripe pear & reine claude plum, rye toast, salty stones. There’s a fresh purity here but also an interesting edge. Very enticing!
Medium weight on the palate but also very juicy & fresh. Love the purity of fruit (ripe reine claude & mirabelle plums) paired with the slightly creamy mouthfeel and just a hint of tannins. Finish is salty, mineral, edgy.
Much more precise & more structured vs a Languedoc Grenache Blanc. So nice!
This is truly a lovely wine! — 2 years ago
Nose still has some oak. But it’s tasty sweet oak. So rich. Some yellow fruits as it opens. Some mirabelle plums. Getting great.
Palate is sweet wood. Deliciously rich. Yellow fruits. As it opens tart. Green apples. Lemon pith.

This pale lemony-golden wine has a lovely bouquet of a well-balanced fruit medley, including soft notes of golden and Granny Smith apples and green pears; bold but refreshing notes of lemon and grapefruit, and some nice round stone fruit n tropicals like white peach and honey dew. On the palate the alcohol isn't too stiff as can easily be the case with white wines. The fruit salad is impressively balanced with soft notes of golden apples, cooked lemon slices, mirabelle plums, and cantaloupe. The finish is just a tad thin but the mouthfeel still has a nice viscous weight to it. Overall this is a very good white wine for such an affordable price, and should go easily with many foods like mild cheeses, light brothy sauces, and summery grilled foods. Organic and vegan for anyone interested in that. — 5 years ago

Solid brut rose for a Sunday afternoon on the deck. Strawberries and fresh baked bread on the nose. Just delicious. — 7 years ago
Rich golden in colour yet vinified to bone dry. Spicy apples, Mirabelle plums and a bit of pear. On the palate tightly wound around the core of juicy acidity with great depth & purity of fruit and ending with a mineral finish and a dash of salinity. This is quite unusual for a PG from Alsace but truly delicious.
Worked magic with a pan-fried skate in brown butter.

Luminous, golden hue. The nose shows freshness and fruit with notes of lemon meringue pie followed by yellow fruit such as Mirabelle plums. Then, as the Champagne warms up, aromas of plums with slightly honeyed and toasted notes start to come through. The Champagne confirms its richness and volume. The Pinot Noir endows it with structure and depth. Hawthorn and white flower aromas fuse naturally together in a fine acidity sustained by citrus fruit. — 2 years ago
A perfectly decent classic Chablis. Green apples & melon, limestone austerity & salinity.
Starts off quite round, with ripe fruit on the forefront. But the acidity & mineral backbone quickly take over giving this delicious mineral & saline linear purity.
Juicy, savoury, fresh. Perfect with grilled mackerel!
Edit: tasted 6m later, with 10h (natural) decant. This gains in complexity pairing the slightly mushroomy, slightly waxy, Mirabelle infused roundness with the typical chalky razor acidity. This is a really nice one that will clearly gain with age! (Bumping up from 8.9 to 9.0) — 4 years ago
Drank at Mirabelle in Avon, has a sweetness too it but not too sweet — 5 years ago
This is so lovely and so in the zone. Amazing nose. Superb fruit complexity and mineral, apricot, very airy and precise, mirabelle plum, almost like a plucot. Dazzling aromas. So complex. Palate is rich and ripe with wonderful depth, texture and complexity. Such wonderful structure and that 13 intensity. Beautiful acid spine and texture with just insane complexity on the finish. Long and saline. — 7 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
A blend of about 57% Chardonnay, 43% Pinot Noir, pale lemon color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with spice notes, tiny bubbles on soft mousse. On the palate flavors of apple, apricot and lemon citrus texture with notes of honey and sweet spice. Youthful, lively acidity, long finish ending with vanilla, yeasty spice and mineral notes. — 6 months ago
