Nosing and dipping my lips in the glass only. Served with a roasted lamb leg and beans. Superb pairing. Chalk, cherry, raspberry, pepper, bramble... this is superb and deep. 👁 It has a medium ruby hue with noticeable tearing.

👃 On the nose, this wine has a medium(+) intensity of vibrant and youthful aromas. The aromas include primary notes of ripe cherry, raspberry, and red currant, also minty, black tea, anise, clay pot, and dusty stone notes. Also secondary notes of vanilla, nutmeg, clove, cardamom and toast.

👄 On the palate, this wine is dry and offers medium(+) acidity, a medium body, high alcohol, medium tannins, and medium(+) intensity of flavors consistent with the nose, including, ripe cherry, raspberry, and red currant, also minty, black tea, anise, clay pot, and dusty stone notes. Also secondary notes of vanilla, nutmeg, clove, cardamom and toast. The finish is medium.
