@LM Segal, in general, U.S. whites or reds rarely posses the longevity of their Burgundy counterparts. I have a number of old Cali whites which I will road-test for S and G’s.

On the nose: subdued notes of dark fruit, currants, herbaceous, forest floor, worn leather, coffee grounds, slight menthol. Taste: smooth, slightly creamy, mouthcoating wine with black fruit, cedar, minerals, dark chocolate, earth, and a spiced graphite long finish with just a touch of heat. YUM! — 13 days ago
