Peaking, Wounderful velvety mouthful, hitting all of the right spots — 9 days ago
Smooth! Jammy aftertaste. Not incredibly sweet. Good recommendation for a first try of red. (XI buy) — 7 hours ago
Procured via auction. Have had bad bottles before but cork looked solid (used Durand to take no chances).
This bottle was excellent and the wine developed nicely in the glass over about 1.5 hours. Kept in my ETO.
Nice black and dark fruits with a little muscle. Oak integrated and not overpowering.
Lovely pairing with steak. — 19 days ago
Even after 3 hours, this is shy. Darker fruits, loads of structure. A few hints at what it will become but needs more time. — 21 days ago
Drinkable yet anonymized. Did not make me puke. — 21 days ago
An excellent wine from a not great year. Gorgeous on the nose. Plum, cassis, lavender, and milk chocolate. Just a bit weak on the finish. — 6 days ago
See my prior notes. For a gnarly vintage, few complaints here. — 19 days ago

This has softened considerably since my last bottle several years ago. Nose is complex, with earth, cedar, cigar box, and an incense-like note. In the mouth, it’s rich but medium-bodied. The tannins that were so prominent a few years ago have significantly resolved. Entering (finally) its drinking window. — 12 days ago
