Popped and poured; enjoyed from red Solo cups over the course of an hour. No formal notes. At this stage, the 2015 is more than giving, full of delicious ripe orchard fruits, tiny bubbles, racy acidity and minerals. I imagine this vintage will be really easy to love over the next 20 years or so. — 8 months ago

This lives up to the hype. A wine you could write paragraphs about, but suffice to say is excellent. There is a tension and energy here that almost takes your breath away. Classic flavor profile - super mineral, with orchard fruit in the nose and citrus in the mouth. The searing acid here almost feel like tannin on the finish. A challenging, beautiful, and unique wine. The enamel on my teeth was a small price to pay. — 6 years ago

Nice wine for the price. Bought at Trader Joe’s. — 8 years ago
Everything I love about Syrah, but a bit softer and fruitier — 5 months ago
Simply exquisite! One of Michael best builds. All round hill fruit :) this was gold in GovCup (2019?) This raises the bar for both terroir and maker! — 6 years ago
Dark fruit, cherries, anise, and tobacco on the nose. Very dry wine. Dried fig, vanilla, more dark fruits, more cherry, and chocolate. Long finish of leather and oak. Drink now. Decant for an hour. — 6 years ago

Decent cab, actually surprisingly good for Yolo county. — 6 months ago
A little tart but good — 3 years ago
Intriguing & unique Cab. Spicy red fruit in the nose & through the palate. This yields some smoky/spicy notes on the mid palate & through the finish. Plenty of tannic structure persisting here. Under appreciated producer outside of Washington. Very nice bottle of Cabernet. — 6 years ago
Delicious passion fruit on the nose and palate. Clean and crisp. Very nice. — 8 years ago
Got during naramata trip 2018. Excellent not too sweet — 8 years ago
"Odedi"
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Red fruits on the nose with earth, spices, chocolate notes and herbs.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with cherries, red currants, earth, light wood, spices, espresso, herbs, green vegetables and peppercorn.
Short finish with grippy tannins and tart cranberries.
This is an interesting take on a Chianti from Alexander Valley. Still young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, but a good food wine right now.
Showing nice complexity, but still a little grippy, once it opens up.
Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years and see how it evolves.
Will pair nicely with Pizza, or with Pasta with red sauce.
A field blend of Sangiovese with a touch of Canaiolo Nero, Malvasia, and Trebbiano. Aged in used French oak barrels for 17 months. A tiny production of only 1,300 bottles.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
89 points.
