Love it. Relaxing. — 9 days ago
Classic Barolo via the stellar 2010 vintage (now +15 yrs). Medium / pale garnet and pours to a transparent center. Pop-and-pour to taste, with a much needed 2-hour decant to follow. Bone dry, high tannin and medium+ acidity, just like I like it. Tons of dark red fruit; this is drinking exceptionally well now, but would certainly benefit from 10-15+ more years in the cellar as the nose continues to develop. The finish is long / strong and heavily structured; simply a gorgeous expression of the Rocche dell’Annunziata Riserva! — 22 minutes ago

2020 Vintage. Surprised that this had a good amount of acidity which made it a great match with food. Loved it. — 2 days ago
Another great Langhe Nebbiolo. Great food wine. — 14 days ago
Robust skin contact for weeks - array of rich mountain herbs, nuts, tannins. Not a wall flower! — a month ago
Delightfully medium-to-full bodied. Paired well with a hearty pasta rigatoni in homemade ragú sauce meal. Notes of dark fruit especially blackberry and cherry. Excellent bottle for any occasion. Well-priced at USD$19 but likely to sell for USD$45 at a restaurant. — a month ago

Sangiovese / sagrantino / montepulciano blend from hilltop vineyard, several years of tank and cask ageing but no new wood. Huge wine but somehow manages to be lively and dimensional. Dark, fleshy red and black fruits with lots of savory, herbal and floral elements — 15 days ago
