Very much on the dark, earthy, minerally side. So dark and full of smoky ember crushed stone that I’d almost be tempted to place it half-way around the world in Walla Walla. Guessed a warm vintage, New World Chard in our blind. Close enough. Big wine, but balanced I felt. Exotic fruit and rich oaky flavours, super dense, very long finish, and crisp acidity. Needs lots of air. Will be nice to revisit with age. — 10 months ago
