Jasnières Chenin Blanc 2023

Pineapple, beeswax, pear and wet stone. Rich full bodied Chenin with beautiful acidity. When it’s first opened it had a nice funk of mushroom / wet forest with a clean mineral undertone. Balanced. I want a case stack for the summer. — 17 days ago

Cuvée du Rosier Coteaux du Loir Pineau d'Aunis 2022

My brother likes this, I don’t but will drink it because I’m a good sister! 😖 very light bodied, way too tannic, no fruit on the palate. I’ll open something else for the steak! — 5 months ago

Chénas Vignes de 1939 Gamay 2018

18年有点老了,三类大于一类香了,香料味挺足的倒是,性价比还可以吧,也是喝的第一支博若莱村级了 — 2 months ago

Domaine Robert Arnoux / Arnoux-Lachaux

Les Chaumes Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2015

I had a previous bottle earlier this year with similar notes. A lovely perfume, typically Vosne Romanee - red florals, earthy, mushroom - forest floor. Sweet fruited reflecting the warmer vintage. Lacked a little complexity. I was following Jancis’s drinking window (Julia Harding MW) of 2019 - 2025 which I feel is too early. This could easily go on for 3 or 4 more years. As a point of comparison I have another 2015 Les Chaumes made by Domaine Francois Lamarche where the drinking window from Jancis is 2026 - 2042 which is a big difference. Drinking Windows are an inexact science. — 7 months ago
