On medication and can't partake of alcohol, so finding new non- alcoholic beverages.
Nice lager, similar to a Stella in aroma and flavour. Crisp and flavourful.

An excellent occasional tipple in winter. Glenmorangie are the masters of maturing in oak barrels which previously held other alcoholic beverages. They even mature in barrels that once held Sauternes. This Lasanta spent ten years maturing in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks before being matured for a further 2 years in Oloroso and PX Sherry casks from Jerez in Spain. This gives this single malt Scotch a sweet smoky slightly burnt nuance. — a year ago
Wow you can tell this is good stuff. Elegant and pure. Lemon custard and lime, coconut. Zippy minerals. Perfect use of oak. But needs a lot of time. Don’t be like me and open this now... Still way heavy so2 from bottling. Not sure there’s a quantum leap between this and the excellent Bourgogne blanc. — 4 years ago
Slightly fizzy, funky. Latex, gooseberry, pomegranate, bay, black tea. Funnnnn. — 5 years ago
Bought at Kauai Costco today…tag said 93 rating by one of the big raters. I wouldn’t score it that high at a food truck place in Koloa town. Drank out of cardboard coffee cups. If I had my nice stemware it probably would have scored higher. Under $20. It was OK to open our bottle at the dining tables. No adult beverages sold at any of the 3 food trucks. — 2 years ago

Not always my favourite on the table, but always solid. Dassai's like the Penfolds of sake - producing high quality beverages at a scale that's accessible to the multitude. In 2013, Asahi Shuzo, Dassai's brewery, sold 1.14 million bottles of sake, which is peanuts compared to what Treasury does, but no mean feat in a struggling sake industry. For me, Dassai is at least large enough to have reached little ol' Kuching, and to have been one of my first encounters with a Junmai Daiginjo.
I've always found Dassai's quite rich and it's no different here. Exotic nose of melons, pineapple, candied fruits even. Palate's like a fruit punch, plush but toned back by herbaceous notes and some acidity. Clean, lengthy finish. Very approachable. The best drink on the table this time. — 5 years ago
